any place you recommend seeing whilst in birmingham? just got into town...seeing the white stripes play at sloss furnaces tonite and am staying at the redmont.
hmmm... i don't know birmingham really well... haven't spent too much time there. i hear the bottle tree cafe is pretty cool. it's a music venue/restaurant... the menu is mostly vegetarian and features local seasonal produce. i also suggest hitting up the thrift stores in alabama.... stuff is sooo cheap, and not too picked over by hipsters. have a good time at the show!
